Why we're working with YDance

As we move out of the pandemic we're delighted to be working with YDance, the national youth dance agency for Scotland and Glass a provider of youth drama. Over three years we are providing evaluation services to the CashBack for Communities funded project 'CashBack for Change'.

CashBack for Change uses dance and drama to engage and positively influence those most at risk of displaying anti-social behaviours and/or entering the criminal justice system. In partnership with theatre company Glass Performance, YDance set out to deliver a 3-strand programme to benefit young people aged 10-21. The three strands are:

1. Work in Polmont HMYOI

2. Work in alternative/secure learning centres

3. Community based diversions

Despite last year's difficult restrictions to getting started we've already witnessed some fantastic creative interventions that are already making a difference to the lives of young people taking part. Below is our joint annual report.
